N6721 Antique English Silver Match Box on Hoof Feet

An unusual English silver match box on four cast hairy hoof feet. The front side panel has three silver coins inserted and visible from the inside. The lid hinges back to open and has a chased scene of a female in a garden in an arts and crafts style. London 1889 by John Beresford. The side of the cabinet has a striker for lighting matches.

2 1/4" tall. 2 7/8" wide by 2" deep.
